Problems arise sometimes, but it's how the business responds that shows me how I will ultimately feel about their service. Rudy, the owner, was easy to reach, straightforward and communicative throughout the process. He gave me a quote and a time with no fuss for his team to unload our PODS container into our new home.
One hour before the window, he called and explained that he had two of his staffers call in sick and they wouldn't be able to make the window. I get it. Things happen. He told me it would be late afternoon or early evening before they could return from Austin to come do our job. Rudy called when he said he would and kept me up-to-date on when his team would be able to arrive.
It was definitely unorthodox to have a moving team show up at 10 p.m., but he asked if that was OK (it was for us) and he and his team worked quickly and placed everything where we needed it without damaging anything. His crew was also friendly and talkative, even at that late hour.
Rudy and his team could've easily bailed, but they didn't. They could've let the late hour make them sloppy, but they didn't. Rudy said they would finish the job and they did. If I ever again need a service his company provides, I would absolutely be willing to call them first.
